September 16, 2010: Guest speaker; Paul Wojowski from Greenpeace talking about their work and new project against coal
September 23, 2010: Played environmental jeopardy
September 30, 2010: Discussed upcoming events and brainstormed fund-raising ideas. Top ideas were: Bake sales, Zoo Lights date raffle, and pie/chili baking competition
October 7, 2010: Painted banner for Greenpeace's coal event
October 14, 2010: No meeting this week.
October 21, 2010: Brief meeting after school;E-Waste Collection afterwards from 4-6:30.
October 28, 2010: Meeting to form committees (publicity and fundraising are the key ones), and plan some future events.
Novembr 5, 2010 [Friday]: Special brief meeting for those attending the zoo trip on Saturday!
November 6, 2010: Zoo trip! We got to have an extreme animals tour, polar bear keeper talk/enrichment demonstration, and see the OSU solar house. All tied to conservation!
